Some international airlines arrive to Salta and Jujuy. There are several daily flights from Buenos Aires to Salta and Jujuy others in different airlines, among which are LAN Argentina, Aerolineas Argentinas and Lineas Aereas Andes. The flight takes about 2 hours. There are also flights to Northern Argentina from La Paz, Bolivia. There are also land connections with Bolivia and Chile.

For our guests, we suggest that the first day, take it easy, try to eat light foods and avoid alcohol. Tours are available at different difficulty levels and at different heights. The local guides will recommend the best order to carry them out, sticking out the most of your stay without running the risk of altitude sickness.

Do not need any vaccinations to visit Jujuy. However, we suggest you make sure you have all their shots updated and also please check details with your doctor before traveling.
// What kind of medical facilities there?
The town has a Community Hospital and also a local physician for non-urgent conditions. The nearest clinic is in San Salvador de Jujuy, an hour and a half away. We recommend that all passengers traveling covered by a comprehensive insurance policy.
// Is this a good place for families?
Families will find in Las Marías a very entertaining, DVD´s and movies are available, the pool, Health Club & Spa and also a list of daily excursions, will provide you the opportunity to share with the entire family. We have spacious rooms and can provide cots and beds for babies and toddlers, and we can also apply for babysitters in town. We do not have day care or special facilities for child care within the hotel.
